About the author

Ken Miller is a local high school math teacher. He and his wife, children, and cat have lived in the Sandusky area since the early 1980s.  Ken worked summers at Cedar Point since 2000 and was with the Town Hall Museum until 2024. 

He is a member of the Erie County Historical Society, National Amusement Park Historical Association, American Coaster Enthusiasts, the Sandusky Maritime Museum, the Sandusky Merry-Go-Round Museum, the Firelands Postcard Club, and the Greater Ohio Coaster Club. He is on the Board of Directors of the new Downtown Sandusky Cedar Point Museum.

When not at the school, Cedar Point, or taking care of some research, he can be found at a chess board.
